Peta Slams rihanna and lady gaga

Rihannas former boyfriend R&B singer Chris brown was charged February 21st 2009 for beating Rihanna. She was shown with a bruised up face and has been against any kind of abuse to human nature. Formally Rihanna launched her her Reb’l Fleur perfume in London, were she was seen wearing a light green top with ostrich feathers. Right then the media and society struck the 24 year old with hate mails and questions on what right she had to wear real animal skin after her abuse. PETA slammed Rihanna and criticized her right that moment. PETA stated that “rihanna should have sown more respect and care towards animals because after all, animals are abused and tortured”. This year rihanna was shown wearing knee high snakeskin boots were PETA struck again saying, Rihanna may not have a clue that snakes killed for boots are often nailed to a tree and skinned alive. Of course, they can’t go on Oprah to cry about it,” said a PETA spokesperson, referring to the singer’s recent appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show. Rihanna her self didn’t mean to offend PETA or the rest of the world with her latest appearances on what she wears. For some people animals might not have the same respect as people do. But for rihanna after being abused, wearing real animal skin didn’t seem to affect her in any way.

Lady GaGa made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2009 were she stated, “I hate fur and I don’t wear fur.”PETA is now calling Gaga a hypocrite after she was snapped wearing a designer fur coats in public. The young popstar has been shown wearing different and odd styles of clothing such has her latest “meat dress” that caught the publics eye. “These recent photos of you in fox and rabbit and with a wolf carcass make it appear that you have amnesia,” PETA’s senior vice president Dan Matthews said in an open letter to Lady Gaga. “What happened? Are your stylists telling you that it’s fake, or are you a turncoat?”Gaga responded with a tweet saying, “To those press and such who are writing about whether or not my fur is actually real, please don’t forget to credit the designer HERMES. Thank You!”

Were both Rihanna and Lady Gaga misunderstood? You decide.
